helping widow in their need
Helping widows and aged is one of the major concern of our church ministry. Except in very few cases most of the Indian women are housewives. Men are bread winners. When a person dies his wife becomes helpless. Since widows were being considered as unfortunate and ill fated in the community and were being treated as less privileged and socially outcaste people.
There are no policies in the government to take up the responsibility like social security, pension plan etc. They have to beg money for their food, medicines, clothes and other necessary needs. Even if they beg, there is no one to help and care for them from anywhere. They have to die on the roads itself. Aenon Ministries was moved with compassion towards such people and is reaching widows and elderly by helping them with medicines, clothes etc.
Unless such widows are comforted and cared for, they have to lead most miserable and lonely life in their old age "AENON" shows the love of Jesus to such destitute by providing food, Clothing Shelter and Medical care etc.
